Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of fifaworldcup.sojourney.co and the services we offer through it. By using the site or booking a stay, you accept these Terms.

The site is operated by HF Collection LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company doing business as Sojourney, with its principal place of business at 18-20 Lackawanna Plaza, Suite 300, Montclair, NJ 07042. “Sojourney,” “we,” and “us” refer to HF Collection LLC.

Short-term rental homes in New York, New Jersey, and select Philadelphia-area locations. Listings, prices, and amenities shown on the site are subject to change and final terms are confirmed at booking.

• Bookings are confirmed only after the initial payment is received and we've sent a written confirmation.
• Quoted nightly rates include the rate Sojourney pushes to Airbnb (shown as the strikethrough “regular” price) and our direct-book rate (the bold price). Cleaning fees and applicable taxes are itemized at checkout.
• Length-of-stay discounts (1-week, 2-week, 3-week, 1-month+) apply automatically when your booked range qualifies.
• Payment is processed through trusted third-party processors. Sojourney never stores your card details directly.

Payment schedule

When your check-in date is more than 60 days away, payment is split across three milestones:

• 50% at the time of booking — secures your home and dates.
• +25% due 45 days before check-in — running total: 75%.
• Final 25% due 30 days before check-in — running total: 100%.

If you book inside any of those milestones, the portion that would have been due by then is collected at booking — for example, booking 35 days before check-in means 75% is due upfront and the remaining 25% follows at the 30-day mark. Booking inside 30 days requires payment in full at checkout.

No payment is collected upon arrival.Your full balance must be paid before check-in — we don't take cards or cash at the door.

We use a moderate cancellation policy for World Cup bookings:

• 30+ days before check-in — full refund of everything paid.
• 15–29 days before check-in — 50% refund of everything paid.
• Inside 14 days of check-in — non-refundable.

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. Booking-fee processor charges (if any) are non-refundable.

• Maximum occupancy listed for each home is a hard cap — exceeding it can void your booking with no refund.
• Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM, every night. This protects neighbors and is non-negotiable.
• Parkingavailability varies by home — some units include free or dedicated parking, others rely on street parking only. Each listing notes what's available; if it's not listed, assume street parking only. Confirm with us before booking if parking is a must-have.
• Smoking, pets (unless explicitly allowed in the listing), and unregistered guests are prohibited.
• Parties, events, and short-stay subletting are prohibited.
• Damage caused beyond ordinary wear is the guest's responsibility.

Sojourney provides each home in good condition but cannot guarantee uninterrupted utilities, transit, or third-party services (e.g. Hospitable, payment processors). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sojourney's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected booking.

Events outside our reasonable control — natural disasters, government action, public health emergencies, tournament cancellation or rescheduling — may require us to cancel or relocate bookings. In those cases we'll work with you on alternate dates or a refund consistent with the cancellation policy above.

Sojourney's name, logo, photographs, and site copy are owned by Sojourney. You may not reproduce or distribute them without written permission. Reviews you submit may be quoted publicly on the site, with first name + last initial only (per our Privacy Policy).

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your stay will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Essex County, New Jersey, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. This applies whether the home you book is located in New Jersey, New York, or Pennsylvania — HF Collection LLC is a New Jersey entity and New Jersey law governs the contract.

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be flagged at the top of the page. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
